| New Calendar "Children of the World 2008" Just Out | | Ljubljana, Slovenia, 16. november 2007 |  Once again, Benka has published an exquisite color calendar. For 2008 she debuted Children of the World, in which she captured the images of her dearest friends; children from various continents. The calendar has become a popular learning aid in schools, helping students learn about cultures from around our brightly colored world. The money from the calendars will go to the humanitarian foundation "Believe in Yourself & Kickstart the World", for the education of exiled Tibetan children.
Benka also introduced her new campaign "Slovenian Children for Tibetan Children". With this project, Ms. Pulko is inviting each Slovene pupil to annually donate money equal to the price of one pack of chewing gum. This will enable each school to gather €300, enough to pay a years' tuition for one Tibetan pupil. This campaign is sponsored by Si.Mobil, Alpres and TNT. |
